This is a list of the collection of books we have in the staff lunch room.  These books are collections of at least three copies per title and meant for book groups within your classes.  Please use them!!

Kindergators: Hands Off, Harry!  by Rosemary Wells

A story about an unruly alligator who needs to learn how to control his body so he doesn't invade other people's space.  Especially during morning meeting and other classroom rituals. 


Personal Space Camp by Julia Cook

Personal Space Camp is about a boy who thinks he is a personal space expert and knows how to explore personal space.  But in reality, he needs a little more help being aware of how other people feel about their personal space and respecting that. 



Personal Space Camp Activity and Idea Book by Julia Cook

Some Parts are Not for Sharing by Julie Federico

This story is told about two fish who share and explain appropriate ways to share bodies.  Because... fish have bodies too!



I Can Play It Safe by Alison Feigh

This book reviews seven rules for being safe including personal touch.

One of the Problems of Everett Anderson by Lucille Clifton

About a boy who notices a friend coming to school with lots of bruises and doesn't know what to do about it.  Everett's problem is about how to keep his friend safe.
